However, when your leg is fully extended, you may feel the edge of the D3O insert on your shin. We have noticed this sensation mainly during longer rides. Although the coverage they provide is decent, it is important to note that they have a CE Level 1 rating, which means they may not offer the same level of protection as some other options. Nevertheless, they have proven to be durable, holding up well over two years of riding.
